最近翻看了一套電影,裡面有一句對白觸動了我:「You’ve got brains in your head, feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.」

:)

I kept walking on the hill and saw a little house with a sign writing “Tea House” on it. Through the door, I saw an old lady sitting in front of the bar. I have hesitated if I should go into the house, but I opened the door. The old lady welcomed me and served me to have a seat. She gave me a traditional menu with beautiful calligraphy on it. I have ordered a cup of matcha and relaxed in the shop for an afternoon.

Some people may think that I am silly that I have wasted an afternoon for doing nothing, not going to a famous scenic spot nor taking nice pictures, but have just been sitting in a tea house. However, as far as I concerned the tea house was much better than the commercial old street. At least, I could really see how people live.

Traveling, there are different meanings and possibilities to different people, for wandering, relaxing, eating, shopping, recovering, having fun and self-searching etc. Life, in fact, is a journey. You and I both are travelers who are looking for our direction and destination with our own values. As far as I concerned traveling is not about how far the destination is, how delicious the food is, or how famous the scenic spot is. What I concern more are how the view during the journey is, how my soul has been touched, and how much I have known myself.

I have watched a film one more time recently, and there was a script that has touched me “You’ve got brains in your head, feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.” No matter a trip or life, let’s walk with our own pace and chase our own destination.

🙂
